Some sewage treatment center in Beijing is one of the infrastructures constructed to solve the sewage treatment problems in the town and its surrounding areas. It was formally completed and put into use in June 2009. At present, the central area of the town adopts a combined drainage system without sewage treatment facilities. The sewage is not treated and discharged into a river through the existing combined pipeline, causing great pollution to the existing water situation. With the further acceleration of urban construction, the population of the town is developing rapidly, and the amount of sewage is increasing day by day. In addition, in order to protect the city's water sources, as an important part of urban infrastructure, it’s necessary to construct sewage treatment plant in this town. A new artificial wetland will be built around the sewage treatment plant, and the treated water will be used as the source of the artificial wetland or discharged into a certain river. The project scale is 20000 m3/d in the near future and 30000 m3/d in the long term.

The main structural building includes: inlet pump room (including grille room), cyclone grit chamber, sand washing room, surface exposure oxidation ditch, sedimentation tank, sludge pump room, sludge dewatering machine room and mud storage tank, sludge Storage sheds, UV disinfection channels, deodorization facilities and structures, and dosing rooms; other buildings and structures include main substation room, comprehensive building, fire pool and pump room, heat pump room, warehouse, maintenance room, and communication room. The comprehensive building is equipped with a central control room and a laboratory, which can effectively monitor and control various data. So that the on-site staff can adjust process parameters in a timely manner. Our center uses the oxidation ditch activated sludge method for secondary biological treatment of sewage, taking into account the requirements for phosphorus and nitrogen removal.
